Create an Application in ADF, ASP.NET, JSF, PHP with HTML5 and jQuery

Getting Started with Application Development is as Easy as 1, 2, 3... We have done the research and have compiled a list of application development languages and tools that we have tested to help you on your journey to developing scalable web applications.

Build mobile-ready enterprise web applications from the ground up using Application Development Framework (ADF) and Active Server Pages (ASP.NET). Setup localhost and cpanel environments to facilitate the development of static, data-driven, and mobile-responsive websites with Hypertext Preprocessor (PHP). Benefit from tons of web development documentation that we have available as eBooks. We wrote the eBooks in a Journal Entry format to give the reader a sense of inclusion; an inside look of all the steps taken to create each web application from scratch.

Web Application Development involves more than one programming language. An enterprise web application such as ASP.NET can be paired with CSharp as the programming language work-horse that plugs into the ASP.NET design source. Additionally, an ASP.NET application might include a bit of JavaScript coding, or even jQuery, to aid with User Interface (UI) or client-side interactions, such as web form input validation. On top of that, HTML5 (Hypertext Markup Language) is widely used in the UI design to introducce a pleasing user experience with the ASP.NET front-end.

Likewise, enterprise applications in ADF not only use JavaScript or jQuery for client-side user interactions, they also take advantage of a proven server-side development framework to leverage the power of UI components, thereby simplifying the application development process. One such framework is JavaServer Faces (JSF), combined with Java, JSF brings ADF application development to a more robust level. JSF is a component-based framework for building UIs, as it dives deeper into the server-side of the ADF application to provide functionality to the front-end. For additional information on obtaining and downloading the tools to begin your application development journey, go to our How-To page.

All in all, if web application development is in your blood, whether it be enterprise web applicactions in ADF/JSF, ASP.NET, or data-driven websites built in PHP with HTML5 and jQuery, you have come to the right place. We hope that you find the information included here fruitful and applicable to your needs. For additional support or questions that you may have before getting started, please visit our FAQ page.

Green Coding Habits

Make your work count, add comments and instructions to your code, thoroughly test your samples before submission (mention what may still need additional testing), try not to be a litter bug in your community or forum, help save time and effort.
